You Go Girl(s)!!
It gets better and better--Katie's temperature is still stable and she's improved from the IV Heparin to the oral Cumidin meds. She will also be transferred back to the maternity ward to be reunited with her little room mate! Katie's supply still has not come in yet (this is normal considering what her body's been through). But Melanie will soon be able to offer her assistance in that area, no doubt! :)

Great News... Maybe Aunt Becky can give Melanie a little breast milk as a treat... Luke said "its pure Cream"... Latch-on and Let-down... How's her little button healing... what color are her eyes... what kind of cry does she have... Is Brian a "natural" at all this... Thanks for the updates... Love to all... AntLar
ReplyDeleteYay Katie! I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better. You've definately been on my mind lately. Little Melanie is absolutely adorable and I can't wait until I get a chance to meet her!
ReplyDeleteLove you!

Melanie's eyes are dark brown just like her Mommy's and she also has very long fingers and toes just like her Mommy, and of course a lot of black hair, just like you know who. I don't see much of her Daddy in her except maybe her cry which is very, very loud. She sure does have a set of great lungs, you can hear her loud and clear. Visited them at the hospital today and both are doing very good, so good in fact Melanie was discharged today and will be rooming with her Mommy until she is discharged. Katie may have a few more days til she is discharged. Katie has been through so much but she is starting to get some color back in her face and starting to gain some strength back.
