Our Little Sleepy Puppy

Just a quick clip of a doggy pile on the doggy bed!!

Will Clap for Food

In a typical evening, I come home, greet Melanie and Brian, get comfy and then prepare our dinner. And typically Melanie cries for me next to the dog-gate that separates the living room from the kitchen.
I used to think it's because she wants to be with me and see what I'm doing. Now I'm not so sure.
What I now suspect, is that my daughter loves to eat. In the evening, she gets worked up and cries for me - to cook faster! Once she hears the tell-tale sign of dinner being ready (the scratch of the highchair wheels being pushed across the kitchen floor) she immediately starts breathing quickly, almost giggling. She runs to the highchair, where Brian scoops her up and buckles her in. She grunts until the tray is locked in place in front of her. Sometimes she uses a fork, sometimes she doesn't. And her portions are pretty decent, I might add.
Snack example: 1/2 cup of cheese-its, a whole banana
Meal example: 1/2 cup mac & cheese, 1/2 cup broccoli, 6 cut up chicken nuggets.
I swear, yesterday she started clapping for her dinner...

At daycare it's the same thing. Tami said Melanie will eat practically everything she puts in front of her and there are some meals where Melanie will just eat & eat & eat - and Tami cuts her off.

I'll have to take video soon to share.

Thanks Grandpa!

Sure it's supposed to be used for toy storage - but it makes such an awesome chariot too!
