Time to ROCKy
A little prego update:
I'm in the second trimester and thank goodness the morning sickness has stopped just as easily as it did with Melanie. That I can definitely do without!
I'm still not gaining weight yet, which I contribute to my cravings being more healthy this time. With Melanie around this time I couldn't get enough of chips and Butterfingers. Now I don't want any candy and I'm all about gala apples & fresh pineapple. However, I probably could consume a whole bag of Cheetos if there was one in front of me. Yumm.
Even though I haven't gained weight, the weight I have has certainly shifted. So I am now sporting the beloved maternity clothes. A friend mailed some hand-me-down tshirts and shorts. Then Becky and Betsy stopped by over the weekend and unloaded the maternity clothes. I took the larges and extra larges and shipped the smalls & mediums off with Becky to give to Heather (who's due April 14th!). Such great outfits - makes me wish I'd be pregnant forever!
The Lovenox injections aren't bad... my belly bruises a little, but no one sees my belly anyway. I shoot myself while I'm cooking dinner, that way I have some time to let the medicene sink in before Melanie crawls all over my belly. :) I've only missed 1 injection, so I think I've got a good system down.
Well, that's all for now! Back to Melanie time!

Melanie's Going to Be a Big Sister!
Yup, you heard us right! We recently discovered that we're expecting another bundle of joy. The new addition to the family will make his/her debut around April 12, 2012. We've nicknamed this little miracle "Rocky" until we determine the sex & come up with an official name.
If Rocky is a boy or a girl, we'll be happy either way. Our only request is that the baby is as sweet and healthy as Melanie is. And if God could throw in a little red hair, we'd be estatic!
